Composting and soil making
The purpose of this gardening workshop is hands-on learning of “composing compost”. Working and learning together to create soil through building a healthy biodynamic compost heap. Biodynamic soil and fertiliser making, composting kitchen and garden waste and fermentation of weeds.

Who is this workshop for?
Individuals or communities who wish to learn how to care for the planet by learning how to convert organic waste into thriving soil for all plants to flourish.
Novices and experts will develop knowledge and skills that will encourage competence for future independence. Conversation about the topic draws many metaphors to develop wisdom for life.
All ages welcome: Families as well as Professional Development for work colleagues
Can work with any group size. Larger groups benefit from the sense of team spirit created by working toward a shared goal.

How long does it go for?
A 2-hour long workshop including Q&A and refreshment time
It can be a one-off or combined with the Harvest Celebration Workshop, where we would unveil the composts and harvest soil to make new garden beds and for participants to take home.
You will learn many facts about compost making and a capacity to assist in alleviating climate change by diverting methane making garbage from tip.
